Arrival in the morning, lunch and networking for early arrivals

14:30 - 15:00  Welcome and introduction - Concluded projects since previous summit                                          Anders Hall, Hervé Lamy and Andrew Chalk

15:00 - 15:45 Jo Caudron: a strong vision of the future is the why of change.

Transitioning industries are redefining what future-proof building standards look like. The challenge is not if, but how we actively shape and embed ourselves in emerging ecosystems today to stay relevant tomorrow.

15:45 - 16:30 Katerina Tsikaloudaki: From science to regulation

How can scientific research directly influence building regulation and market demand? Katerina Tsikaloudaki will share how evidence-based studies have successfully positioned solar shading as an essential solution within Greece's energy performance regulations.

16:30 - 17:00 Break

17:00 - 17:15  Max Tillberg, why data is the real fuel of the energy transition

For years, solar shading has been undervalued in leading building simulation tools, limiting our role in tomorrow's buildings. Now is the time to change this, together. Max Tillberg (EQUA) will outline the challenge and together with ES-SO, present a clear path forward aligned with our "One Voice Strategy."

17:15 - 17:45   Dr. AnneMarie Eijkelenboom, securing solar shading's role in the cooling                                     strategy for the future

As buildings become increasingly connected and integrated, the question is no                            longer if solar shading should play a role but how the sector can secure its place                          at the centre of future cooling strategies. Dr. AnneMarie Eijkelenboom explores                            how solar shading can evolve from a standalone product into a strategic driver                            within integrated building ecosystems. Through the perspective of the Ladder of                        Cooling, climate adaptation, smart control integration, circular innovation and                                system thinking, she will challenge business leaders to rethink the future role of                            the sector: not as a supporting component, but as a leading force in creating                                resilient, energy-efficient and climate-adaptive buildings.

17:45 - 18:15  Panel debate moderated by Andrew Chalk

19:00             Networking Cocktail

20:00            Dinner
