Social Programme at Zeus Dolce Athens
For guests staying with us at Zeus Dolce Athens during the ES-SO CEO Business Summit, we offer the opportunity to participate in a social programme for participants and their companions.
The archaeological site and museum of Vravrona, one of the most beautiful in Attica Region, are just a few minutes' drive from the Zeus Dolce Vravrona Hotel. Alongside the ES-SO CEO Business Summit programme, complementary visits are planned on Monday 26 October for Summit participants (Monday morning) and their companions (Monday afternoon). A guided tour will provide you with one of the most atmospheric, historically unique and uncrowded experiences of this archaeological site. Unlike the packed monuments in central Athens, Vravrona offers a serene connection between ancient worship and unspoiled nature. Insights on the Vravrona Museum and Archaeological Site (opening hours 08:30 – 15:30, Tuesday closed)
The archeological museum has a unique collection of artefacts from the site, which is dedicated to Artemis Brauronia, the goddess of the wilderness, fertility, and childbirth.
The ruins are seamlessly integrated into the Vravrona Wetland (a protected Natura 2000 site). The Erasinos River flows right past the ancient structures which makes it a relaxing walk combining culture with nature.
Transport from Hotel Dolce Zeus Vavrona to Athens city centre/Acropolis
Option 1: Taxi or Ride-Sharing
Taking a taxi or using an app like Uber or Freenow is the most stress-free option.
- The Route:
Drivers take Leoforos Vravronos to the Attiki Odos (A6) highway, and take the exit towards the centre of Athens. - Cost:
Expect to pay around €40 to €60. Rates are higher during night-time hours (00:00 - 05:00).
The hotel Concierge or the Summit reception desk can assist you in booking a taxi.
Option 2: The Transit Route via the Airport
- Taxi to Airport First:
There is no direct public bus service linking Vavrona to the airport terminal. You will first need to take a 20-minute taxi ride to the airport's departure terminal. - Airport to Athens Center: Once at the airport, you have two premium transit choices to get to the center:
- Metro Line 3 (Blue Line):
Takes 40 minutes directly to Syntagma Square/43 minutes to Acropolis station.
A special Airport Metro Ticket costs €9.00. - Express Bus X95:
Takes 60 minutes to Syntagma Square.
